Friction Auto Parts Inc. is currently looking for a talented inside sales professional to take on an exciting and challenging full-time role of **Auto Parts Counter Person **at our location in London. If you are an enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual with knowledge of automotive aftermarket parts, this could be the role for you.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Delivering a high level of customer service.
- Interact, respond and follow up with customers on a daily basis, promptly responding to all inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
- Sell a diversified line of products via phone and over-the-counter
- Processing customer orders through the computer system, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery
- Utilizing the computer system to look up the correct parts for repairs.
- Ensuring customers parts orders are accurately filled and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Effectively communicating product features, benefits and warranty policy information to customers.
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude.
- Work effectively as part of the team.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Support the sales team through up selling, service, pricing, delivery and inventory inquiries
- Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of products sold
- Other related duties including but not limited to supporting the warehouse functions as required
- Invoice an average of 40-70 orders/day
- Assist warehouse staff with parts identification issues
- Work days Monday to Friday and every other Saturday
- NO SUNDAYS

**Preferred Education & Qualifications**:

- Background/knowledge of automotive aftermarket parts preferred
- 1 year of applicable experience in a similar inside sales role
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A strong desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork
- Ability to use various computer programs
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written and effective listening skills
- Experience working under pressure and setting priorities
- Computer experience

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
