We are looking for a telemarketer who contacts potential customers by telephone to solicit sales for our service.

The primary duties and responsibilities of a telemarketer include:

- Making outbound calls to potential customers to solicit sales
- Building rapport with customers and understanding their needs and interests
- Conducting a sales pitch to promote the service being sold
- Overcoming objections and closing sales
- Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and sales progress
- Updating customer databases and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Meeting or exceeding sales quotas and targets
- Providing customer support and answering any questions or concerns
- Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions to improve sales skills.

In addition, telemarketers must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a positive and confident demeanor.

**Requirements**:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T6E 5W8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
