Estimator

**Duties**:

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential challenges or opportunities.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to generate detailed cost breakdowns and proposals.
- Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients within specified deadlines.
- Review and analyze subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules.

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to accurately interpret project plans and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate estimation of costs.
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management principles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)
