**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in menu planning and recipe development as needed.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in a food service environment, preferably as a Line Cook or Prep Cook.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
