**Stream-Flo Industries Ltd.** is currently seeking a full-time permanent **Desktop Support Technician**to join our team in **Edmonton, AB.**

As a **Desktop Support Technician**, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, and resolving hardware and software issues.

**Key Position Functions**:

- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new computers and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems.
- Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Provide support for remote users.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Creates both end-user and IT documentation for simple procedures.
- On a rotating shift basis, provides 24x7 telephone support to local and remote users via On-Call cell phone.
- May travel to remote office locations to provide on-site support.
- Diploma from a recognized technical school.
- Good working knowledge of modern Windows operating systems.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows networking concepts including Active Directory.
- Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role is an advantage. 1 to 2 years experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

**Work Conditions**:

- Monday to Friday, 8 hour days
- On a rotating shift basis, provides 24x7 telephone support to local and remote users via On-Call cell phone.
- **Flexible work hours** available after 6 months of employment
