As the **Finance Business Partner**, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities include facilitating the budget cycle, delivering financial, statistical, and performance reports, completing month-end processes and statements, managing Ministry of Health reporting, and leading the implementation of innovative monitoring tools. You will collaborate with management and external partners to communicate financial goals, strengthen internal controls, identify risks, and recommend strategies to capitalize on new opportunities. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical acumen, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, contributing to the organization's strategic financial objectives.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Designing, implementing, and overseeing financial planning and reporting cycles, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Health Reporting Standards through the establishment of robust financial controls, audits, reporting formats, and budgets.
- Serving as the primary lead for reconciliations, variance explanations, cash flow management, and promptly notifying the Manager of any identified discrepancies or issues.
- Managing monthly general ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial reporting requirements.
- Monitoring performance metrics to proactively identify risks and opportunities, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Validating payroll and accounts payable allocations for accuracy and completeness.
- Developing and maintaining statistical and financial models to capture current resource utilization trends and their potential impacts, including journalizing month-end activities.
- Documenting all primary responsibilities comprehensively to ensure transparency and operational continuity.
- Collaborating with management to validate financial information and provide contextual insights to facilitate a clear understanding of financial results.

Job Requirements:
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- University degree in business, accounting, or finance required.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA).
- Five (5) years of experience in general accounting within a computerized environment required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience with Management Information Systems (MIS), trial balance submissions, and other reporting requirements.
- Preferred experience with WorldSoft budgeting software and Meditech.
- In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting processes, adhering to GAAP and professional ethics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, multitasking, and execution skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
