Laser Drill Operator

**Position Summary**: Under general supervision operates two laser drilling machines simultaneously to drill low tolerance holes in panels. Independently performs complex and standard machine setups involving loading NC programs, aligning the pinning of the panels, visually and mechanically inspecting the panels, and making the required adjustments. Perform the necessary tasks to keep multiple machines at or near capacity output levels.

**Qualifications**: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of

1-2-year experience in the printed circuit industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Advanced level Computer literacy required to understand and perform daily tasks.

**Required Skills**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Set up laser drilling machine.
- Perform and inspect cross sections to verify laser program specification.
- Help other departments when required.
- Clean the laser drill equipment and work area.
- Use ProCim production software.

**Job Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in the printed circuit industry, in Drilling.
- Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management and supervisory staff.
- Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.
- Strong knowledge in military and rigid flex boards.
- Computer skills required.

**Authorities**:

- Alert QA when product does not conform to customer specification.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
