**Position Summary**:
We are looking for an experienced logistics and trucking **Dispatcher** to join our growing team Acting as the communication bridge between our customers and drivers, the Dispatcher is a vital role that keeps the organization running smoothly.

**This is a full time, salaried position which operates on a rotational schedule of one (1) week on and one (1) week off.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Receive direction and instruction from clients including, but not limited to, driver and/or truck configuration, load times, unloading times and instructions, safety requirements and/or site requirements, accommodations etc.; effectively communicate client needs to operations support staff and drivers as required.
- Coordinate, manage and maintain trucking schedules, including tracking driver availability.
- Oversee and maintain driver compliance records in partnership with Safety to ensure driver safety tickets and other requirements are up to date.
- Process documentation related to driver activities such as invoices, Bills of Lading etc.
- Follow and enforce company safety rules and guidelines; report any and all safety incidents or breaches of conduct to the Safety Representative.
- Other related duties as required.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Fluent proficiency of the English language is required.
- Trucking experience and/or previous dispatch experience required, minimum one (1) year.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
- Experience and proficiency utilizing Axon Logistics Software a strong asset.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills.
- A willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

- Edmonton, AB T6S 1B3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fuel or fluid hauling and/or dispatch: 3 years (required)
