The incumbent is a member of the Resort Services division. The Assistant Manager, Rentals & Repairs sets the cultural tone for creating revolutionary guest experiences while uniting their team around purpose and fun. The purpose of this role is to o versee the smooth daily operation of the rentals & repairs department to support the department optimize financial performance.

**Seasonal Contract**:
September 2024 to April 2025

**Hourly Pay Rate**:
$24.80/hr

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Assist with planning a comprehensive training plan for all staff and ensure our Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.
- Provide necessary tools for the team to do their jobs well, and provide performance feedback as needed
- Understands the annual departmental operating budgets and ensures day to day expenses, labour scheduling and where applicable, revenues meet daily budgeted targets and makes day to day adjustments as required
- Promotes, develops, participates and delivers programming and training that unites employees around purpose and fun and therefore results in high employee engagement and high retention and return rates.
- Fosters a culture of teamwork between all employees that achieves the department's targets.
- Participates in and delivers programming and training that ensures compliance with all legislated requirements and company policies and processes.\\
- Ensures the documentation of training required by government agencies pertaining to risk and safety is completed.
- Actively participates in the selection of subordinate leaders and front line team members.

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- Post secondary education or equivalent experience
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- Understands basic management approaches such a work schedules and has advanced process knowledge specific to their job area
- G license required
- Previous work in rentals & repairs at a ski resort is an asset
