Home Designs Staging Group Inc.

We are a home staging company that serves the GTA. We own our own inventory of furniture, and trucks. We also own our warehouse, which is where staff meet at the beginning of their shifts.

We are looking for a few **strong** and **detail oriented** individuals who can and are willing to start right away

Applicants should be **comfortable moving and handling furniture**, as well as storage totes on a regular basis. Must also be **comfortable working at heights** while working in the warehouse.

As the designated driver/ mover, your role is to assist the lead stager with various staging tasks as well as **picking up, lifting, and moving furniture in the warehouse**, **loading and off loading our moving vehicles (Truck and Cargo Van)**. Must be able to work with little to no supervision, work quickly and comfortable with **hanging artwork**, **steaming linens**, and any other tasks as requested by the stager. Due to the nature of our work, time is always of the essence.

**This is a part-time / on-call position.** Start time is 8am. We work Monday to Friday, no evening or weekend shifts. Team members are notified of upcoming projects as they are confirmed. The work calendar is shared using Apple Calendar (app), therefore **having an iPhone is beneficial**. If you do not have an iPhone, you will be asked to create an iCloud account in order to access the schedule.

**This position can easily be shared with other work commitments, if you already work evenings and weekends and are looking for some extra money **

Work T-shirts are provided. It is recommended but not mandatory to wear steel toe shoes while working in the warehouse.

**This job requires you to enter and work in various properties throughout the Greater Toronto Area.** Please make sure you comfortable with this before proceeding to apply.

Due to COVID-19, hand sanitizer is available for team members to use in the warehouse, when necessary. Social distancing is encouraged while working in the warehouse and whenever possible. You must have a clean mask on you during all work shifts. Being fully vaccinated is recommended and encouraged.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
