Do you have a clean driver's abstract and have experience driving a 16ft cube truck? If you answered yes to all these questions.. keep reading This job might be perfect for you We are a well established home staging company looking for 1-2 staging assistants. This position involves heavy lifting, truck (and van) driving, warehouse work, as well as assisting the head stager onsite. We stock all of our own staging inventory which includes large furniture items (sofas, dining tables, etc...). This position, along with all positions is Part-Time, On-Call basis ONLY. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am start until jobs are complete. Team members are booked when projects are confirmed. Assistant stagers can expect 2-3 shifts a week, 3-6 hours per shift. We use iCal (Apple Calendar) to share project details and work schedules, therefore having an iPhone and an iCloud account is beneficial. Exceptional organizational skills, leadership skills and the ability to work independently are a must in this role. Excellent customer service skills also a must. If working On-Call is not something you are not able to commit to due to other work obligations, set work days are available. However, due to the nature of our business & industry, we cannot guarantee the hours for those set days but will do our best to be mindful of scheduling. Job Responsibilities: - Drive 16ft cube truck, daily truck inspections (Valid G License & clean abstract necessary) - Picking, loading and unloading of inventory - Hang artwork while on site - Manage and scan inventory pieces, inventory quality control - Work with staging assistant during de-stages - Keep truck and warehouse neat and tidy - Re-stock warehouse shelves after de-stages - Occasionally drive company cargo van (Valid G License necessary) - Must have a clean abstract, please submit with resume (when requested) - Other tasks as necessary Other Job Responsibilities: - Assist the lead stager with planning, designing, and packing for projects - Prepare and manage project paperwork - Manage movers, ensure inventory pieces are scanned, inventory quality control - Manage and assist with de-stages - Keep warehouse organized - Re-stock accessories, pillows, bedding, artwork after de-stages - "Stage" and list unused inventory items for sale Hours: Monday to Friday ~ 8am start time until the project is complete. Pay Structure: Based on experience Weekly Pay, includes 4% vacation with every pay. Please include a resume when applying.
