**OVERVIEW**

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Grant Research & Application**
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant and funding opportunities for One Piece A Day programs and operations.
- Prepare and submit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and organization objectives.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of grants, deadlines and submissions status

**Fundraising & Communications**
- Assist with the development and execution of innovative campaigns in support of the Organization’s fundraising goals.
- Maintain Organization’s communications channels with a consistent schedule of engaging and relevant content.
- Provide support with partnership and stakeholder management.

**Program Assistance & Event Planning**
- Book and coordinate appearances, talks and workshops for the Founder in the local community.
- Assist with the development and implementation of educational and environmental programming that is aligned with the Organization’s mission and goals.
- Support the planning and execution of community clean-up events.

**Administrative & Operational Assistance**
- Provide support for administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completed or enrolled in post-secondary education in a relevant field
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Demonstrated interest in the environment through extracurriculars or previous work
- Previous experience in grant writing or at a non-profit is a plus

Pay: Up to $26,832.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
