**Responsibilities**:
Logistics:
- Develop a system to receive, warehouse and track all equipment and parts for the following:
- Items being removed from the ship
- To be reused
- Tag the item and warehouse the item until it’s needed
- To be disposed of
- Identify and document items being disposed of
- Assist HSSE with the disposal process in accordance with regulations
- Items supplied by the client (GSM)
- Items purchased by Heddle
- Items supplied by FSR/Suppliers
- Control all the parts and goods above to ensure they are secured until needed.
- Upon receipt of a demand for items in warehouse, pick the items and deliver to the location requested and get signature of person receiving.
- All of the above to be well documented so that, at any given time, anyone can see where these items are.
Expeditor:
- Working with Purchasing and Planning, ensure that all goods ordered arrived by the RIY date. If there any exceptions, discuss with planning/PM to determine if the change is acceptable and if not, work with the supplier to maintain the original dates.
- Where quantity of items delivered doesn’t match Qty ordered, contact supplier, and expedite delivery of goods back ordered.
- Frequency of expediting will be based on when goods are required. As a general rule of thumb, long lead items need to be checked monthly to confirm dates, then weekly when the goods are expected within the month.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Preference given to those who have experience warehousing offsite, and co-ordinating deliveries to site
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Advance verbal/written communication
