**Position Description: Press Operator**
- Operate Manual and Automatic Presses
- Inspect product to ensure it meets customer criteria
- Operate R7 & R18 mixer as required.
- Participation in 5S teams for each department.
- Operate machinery in a safe manner at all times.
- Abide by all company rules at all times.
- May require unloading/loading of trucks using tow motor.
- Other Duties as required.
- Starting wage is $19.53/hr

Qualifications:

- A desire to make a difference and to continuously improve the environment and culture of Apogee Ceramics Inc.
- Good communications, interpersonal and reporting skills (written and oral)
- Positive attitude and disposition

There are a variety of tasks and all employees will be cross trained over a period of months. Duties may also include, but are not limited to: operate automatic/manual hydraulic presses, high temperature furnaces, grinding systems, inspection and packaging of finished goods, spot welding and light assembly of heating appliances.

Qualifications: Apogee Ceramics is looking for dedicated individuals who are ready to make a difference and who are not afraid to put in an honest day's work.
- Some factory experience is preferred; we will train to our specific duties.
- Experience with calipers and micrometers is preferred.
- Good communication, interpersonal and reporting skills (written and oral).
- Positive attitude and disposition.

*Must have independent transportation; there is no bus service in this area
