Parkwest Projects Ltd. is looking for a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. Parkwest is a leading general contractor in Winnipeg who completes projects throughout Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. The Position

As a Red Seal Carpenter, you will work under the direction of the Site Superintendent. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Operation of hand/power tools
- Monitoring inventory and replenishing supplies, as needed.
- Able to meet deadlines and adjust/problem solve with project changes
- Knowledge in concrete forming, rebar placing and rebar tying
- Ability to perform manual labour, Project tasks as assigned, carry materials, tools, and equipment
- Proper care and attention of company tools and equipment
- Physical endurance being able to lift 50lbs at a time
- Good interpersonal/communication skills when working with sub trades and other team members
- Good understanding of safety policies, safe work practices and safe job procedures
- Must be willing to work in variable climatic conditions

- Certified Red Seal Carpenter
- Reliable, hardworking team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively
- Understand and follow safety policies, safe work practices and safe job procedures
- Ability to work in variable climatic conditions
- Communicates effectively with co-workers and supervisors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
