Our mission is simplewe listen to our customers and deliver solutions to problems they face daily. **THE ROLE** Reporting to the Lead RVT, the BVR Production Assistant is responsible for the compounding and packaging of veterinary pharmaceutical products. **DAY-TO-DAY** - Assist in compounding, packaging, labelling, weighing, filling, capping and stacking of products following strict quality processes - Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company work instructions - Complete all required paperwork including logbooks, work orders and other required documents - Follow all company policies as described in the Employee Handbook - Follow all safety procedures, and assist in maintaining a safe workspace - Maintain a clean working area, - Cleaning of utensils, and routine cleaning and care of equipment - Some heavy lifting and repetitive movements - Ability to safely and responsibly work with hazardous chemicals in controlled environment - Other related duties as required **IDEAL FIT** Education & Experience - Post secondary with a background in science, or equivalent combination of high school education and experience - Basic chemistry knowledge would be considered an asset - Previous experience with sterile products or sterile (surgical) workspace will be considered an asset - Experience working in the medical or veterinary or pharmacy industry preferred.
