**About this opportunity**
If you are a dynamic Rehabilitation Assistant interested in personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to meet these goals, supported by one of the largest healthcare networks in Canada. As a full-time Rehabilitation Assistant at our Whitby Clinic, you will be responsible for administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.
**Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day**
- Act as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
- Assist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloads
- Assemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storage
- Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts
- Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
Administrative tasks:
- Create a welcoming environment for clients, guests, team members and stakeholders
- Solve problems, anticipate challenges, barriers or areas of friction - mitigate or solve before they occur whenever possible and always as soon/quickly as possible
- Provide personalized interactions with clients, actively seek to understand what matters most to clients and communicating to the the team so everyone is aware
- Schedule private/acute clients effectively based on the client’s Care Plan as set out by their clinician(s)
- Educate and support the client in engaging with digital tools and resources such as the Client Portal and online booking
- Maintain confidentiality of client records and personal and personal health information at all times
- Facilitate effective flow within the clinic
**What you need to be successful**
- A Kinesiology degree, PTA/OTA diploma or international Physiotherapy degree
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong customer service skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
