Calgary, Canada KIN-DIR Education Foundation Full time

KIN-DIR Education Foundation is a not-for-profit, Alberta Education-approved, private ECS operator in Calgary and surrounding area. We specialize in screening, assessing, and treating developmental delays and disabilities in children aged 2 years 8 months to kindergarten. Our team includes therapists (Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists) and educators who focus on early childhood development. We also support families with challenging behaviors, developmental tasks, and positive parenting. Our services are provided in various settings, such as preschools, daycares and in-home.

We are seeking Speech and Language Pathologists to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities include screening, assessment, and intervention for children in relation to:

- Delays in sound production, language development, and social communication
- Signs or symptoms of oral motor delay
- Normal child development specific to speech, language, and communication
- Daily routines
- Appropriate play
- Language processing difficulties

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate of an accredited speech-language therapy program and an active registrant or eligible to be registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
- Comfortable working in various settings, including family & foster homes, and driving in and around Calgary and surrounding area
- Valid Driver’s Licence (mileage reimbursed at the current CRA mileage rate)
- Valid Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search Disclosure upon start date
- Valid Child Care First Aid and CPR upon start date
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment and operational needs of the program
- Able to work and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, and able to take initiative and work independently
- Related work experience with special needs children is an asset

Pay: From $80,000.00 per month
