**You’re invited to make a difference ** as a full time **Policy and Procedures Specialist** in Kitchener**.**

This role serves Kindred by producing current, concise, and regulatory approved policies and procedures so that staff members are empowered to deliver excellent member service. This involves researching best practices and regulations, consultation and collaboration, technical writing, and system management. Finally, an emerging responsibility of this role is to support the development of workflows within Flowable in order to streamline current organizational processes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Fulfills responsibility for the research, ongoing development and revision of policies and procedures.
- Supports the development of workflows in Flowable to align with approved processes and procedures.
- Leads process development and contributes to communication and education relating to new and revised products and services.
- Implements approved policy changes for Member Relationships, updating documentation and communicating changes.
- Liaises with other stakeholders as a technical writing expert to support their documentation activities in writing or revising policy and procedures.
- Maintains Forms Inventory and Records Management for Member Relationships department, including updating all links as changes are implemented.

You are a technical writing professional that has a strong familiarity with the financial services sector. With your strong writing skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills, you will serve as a critical partner to our internal departments and branch staff to ensure our policies, processes and procedures are managed and communicated effectively.

**Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Training in technical writing or programming
- 3 years related technical writing experience
- Progressive experience in financial services
- Experience in business analysis, process improvement or Project Management _an asset_
