Accounting Administrator

We are hiring an **Accounting Administrator **on behalf of one of our subsidiary companies. ATL-REFAC Limited provides complete maintenance and repair services for Refrigeration, HVAC, Air Conditioning, Heat Pump equipment and systems. We serve clients in Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and surrounding areas, and all of Industrial Cape Breton and surrounding areas. Doing what’s right and what’s safe for our customers and employees is at the core of how we operate. Reporting directly to the Controller, this is a critical role where the successful hire will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions, based in our office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in accounting or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
- Professional accounting designation considered an asset but not required.
- Experience with Sage 50 and ADP Payroll software considered an asset.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work in a team setting and independently.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required.

**Responsibilities**
- Full-cycle day-to-day accounting.
- Billing and accounts receivable.
- Posting payables and credit cards.
- Provide assistance to technicians with work orders.
- Tracking technician inventory.
- Other administrative duties as required.
