Logistics and Customer Relations Specialist

**House of Contractors Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics and Customer**
Relations Specialist to join our team. This position requires a proactive individual with strong
organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset to manage logistics operations, profit
calculations, and customer relations while ensuring operational excellence.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**1. Upselling Products and Services**:
- Actively promote additional products and services to customers during and post order
processing to maximize sales opportunities.
- Identify and recommend products based on customer needs to in person customers.
**2. Freight Booking and Coordination**:
- Arrange cost-effective and timely freight services for shipments.
- Ensure all shipments are scheduled with reliable carriers to meet delivery deadlines.
**3. Order Prioritization and Communication**:
- Notify the warehouse team of priority pallets for orders.
- Clearly specify product details (additional accessories or services) and shipment
requirements for effective processing.
**4. Pallet Pick-Up and Transport**:
- Drive company vehicles to pick up pallets, including long and oversized pallets as needed.
- Ensure the safe transport of all products in accordance with company standards.
**5. Weekly Profit Calculation**:
- Perform profit calculations and submit accurate financial reports to management.
- Monitor order margins and identify opportunities for cost reduction or low margin mistakes.
**6. Loading Carriers**:
- Oversee the safe and efficient loading of shipments onto carrier trucks.
- Ensure proper handling and securing of products to avoid damage during transit.
**7. Customer Relations and Appreciation**:

**8. Invoicing and Billing**:
- Prepare and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify all order details and ensure proper documentation before invoicing.
**9. Freight Bill Verification**:
- Review and confirm the accuracy of all freight bills.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
**10. Claims Management with Freight Carriers**:
- Manage and submit claims for damaged or missing shipments with freight carriers.
- Maintain detailed records and follow up to ensure proper resolution.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in logistics, customer service, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and transport heavy pallets if necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
