**Forbes Bros Ltd.** is currently seeking an experienced** Superintendent (full-time, permanent) **to support our growing FB Connect Team in Alberta This position will support crew members with the installation of electric vehicle charging stations for world renowned vehicle manufacturers. These projects will be mainly within, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba areas.

The Superintendent will be responsible to schedule and coordinate resources required in the day-to-day activities of construction on site. The successful incumbent will demonstrate attention to detail with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to meet multiple deadlines and priorities in a time efficient manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager with construction schedules
- Coordinate and schedule materials and services with vendors and subcontractors as required
- Assist with completion of material quantities and take-offs
- Read, interpret and understand blueprints and drawings
- Assist with overseeing and supervising subcontractors who are required to be on site
- Meet and deliver on client set timelines
- Assist Project team with completion of project estimation/bidding as required
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and weekly audits on assigned crew vehicles; ensure compliance to company and transportation standards
- Assist management with quarterly crew member reviews
- Participate and engage in weekly Crew Leader meetings aimed towards improving overall company efficiency
- Mentor, train and improve new and existing employees
- Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Minimum four (4) years of relevant civil construction or underground utilities experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of related supervisory or leadership role
- Experience working in Hydro/Telecommunication, an asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Result oriented individual with the ability to effectively problem solve and manage multiple priorities in a timely manner
- Able to build strong relationships with employees and clients
- Willing and able to travel to various project sites throughout BC, AB, SK, and MB for extended periods of time
- Able and willing to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of Pre-Access D&A testing, presenting a valid Driver's License and an acceptable drivers abstract
