**The Opportunity**:
The Lead Treasury Analyst reports directly to the Senior Manager, Risk & Corporate Finance, and supports treasury activities primarily focused on identification and analysis of FX exposures, FX trade execution, management reporting, and assisting with the management of the intercompany loan portfolio & trade settlements.
**You Are Great At**:
- Provide accurate FX execution, tracking, and reporting on foreign currency exposures and outstanding derivative positions. Ensure correct settlement instructions are provided to all counterparties. Optimize process flows for FX quotations and trade execution with banks.
- Extract swap/sovereign curves from Bloomberg, validate month-end FX rates, and partner with accounting teams to analyze FX exposures and impacts to the P&L.
- Understand forex market trends and data, identify risk exposures, and present recommendations to senior management to assist in decision making.
- Prepare management reporting including monthly/quarterly trade activity reports, and management reporting for intercompany loan portfolio and monthly activity.
- Assist the Corporate Finance Manager with various reporting requirements and serve as a focal point for Bloomberg-related activities and administration.
- Support governance requirements including preparation of SOX reporting for treasury-related internal controls.
- Manage ad hoc projects and contribute to Treasury's continuous process improvements and best practices.
**What It Takes**:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in finance, accounting, corporate treasury, or a bank-based treasury back office.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance/Economics or Accounting. CPA or a graduate degree is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Must have solid quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of Finance principles; experience in FX management and intercompany accounting is a plus.
- High degree of flexibility and creativity.
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg, FXAll, SAP, and Kyriba is considered an asset.
