**Job Description: Carpenter and Framer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install building materials such as wood, metal, and drywall according to specifications.
- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, walls, windows, doors, and stairs.
- Select and use appropriate tools and equipment, including saws, drills, hammers, levels, and measuring tapes.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of workmanship and materials used in construction projects.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and contractors, to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter and framer in residential or commercial construction projects. Minimum 2 years.
- 2+ years experience using power tools
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and plans.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in construction.
- Certification or training in carpentry and framing is a plus.
- MUST own a vehicle
- MUST have previous experience in framing and carpentry (min 2 years)
- MUST have some of own tools and overall knowledge familiarity amoung power tools

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
