Cost Estimating Co-ordinator

**_Position Summary: _**

The Cost Estimating Co-Ordinator is responsible for assembling quotes for Customer RFQs, tooling and piece price, for metal stampings and welded assemblies.

**_Essential Duties: _**

In keeping with the policies and procedures of the organization, along with all relevant legislative authority, the Cost Estimating Co-Ordinator will:

- Maintain RFQ log as well as computer and paper files for RFQ, Quotes and Vendor responses for each customer RFQ, ensuring all team feasibility and risk assessment forms are completed.
- Quote the required tooling and send out tooling RFQ packages for secondary quotes for each customer RFQ.
- Coordinate quotations for the required welding cells and send out equipment RFQ packages for each customer RFQ. Included in this would be any required testing equipment.
- Quote the required check fixtures and send out fixture RFQ packages for each customer RFQ.
- Prepare internal quote for each customer RFQ.
- Review each internal quote with Engineering Manager and with Chief Business Development Officer.
- Prepare Customer quotation on customer quotation form or on Titan Letterhead for each customer RFQ or send formal No-quote response by Customer Due Date.
- Complete RFQ log for each step of the quoting process.
- Develop a technical presentation should the customer require a tech review of a quoted RFQ package.
- Work with Engineering Manager should a customer RFQ package be awarded, to source the tooling, welding equipment, test equipment and check fixtures as necessary, ensuring that cycle times, timing, GD&T tolerances and cost requirements are all met.
- Work with Engineering Manager to develop initial project timelines.
- Work with Engineering Manager on quoting all Engineering changes to awarded programs.
- When time allows, assist Engineering Manager with ongoing programs.
- Attend APQP and quote review weekly meetings.
- Assist in contract review and approval process to ensure all aspects of the contract are correct to quotes.
- Aid the Engineering Manager and any other relevant Departments.
- Communicate and work honestly, effectively, efficiently, harmoniously and cooperatively with all departments and team members of the organization.

**_Education and/or Experience: _**

The Cost Estimating Co-Ordinator will have completed post-secondary education in a related field and at least two (2) years of costing experience in a metal stamping facility.
- Knowledge of projection, spot and MIG welding systems, including cycle times is advantageous.
- Knowledge of GD&T, Check fixtures for both metal stampings and assemblies are required.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of CAD software is a strong advantage.
- Experience in filling out both internal and customer quotation forms is required.
- Ability to review tooling quotes, tool designs and welding equipment proposals is advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience on timing constraints for tooling, equipment and projects is necessary.
- Knowledge of packaging, both expendable and returnable, is advantageous.
- Outstanding organizational skills and communication skills are required.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
