Electrical Estimator

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented **Electrical Estimator** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for electrical installation projects across **automotive, manufacturing, and industrial sectors**. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that estimates align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines, contributing to the overall success of the company’s operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Review project plans, specifications, and technical drawings to develop accurate cost estimates for electrical installations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Prepare detailed estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project timelines.
- Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective and reliable pricing.
- Analyze potential project risks and provide contingency recommendations in the estimates.
- Ensure that all estimates adhere to company standards and industry best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits to gather information and ensure estimates reflect the actual project needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and codes affecting electrical installations.
- Provide ongoing support to project managers during the bidding and construction phases, offering revisions or adjustments to estimates as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Must be well adverse using Accubid
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial facilities.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes is a plus.
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in a relevant industry.
- Experience with cost estimation in large-scale industrial or commercial electrical installations.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
