**Activities Co-ordinator**

**Role**:Organize animation and entertainment activities that are varied and adapted to the profile of the clientele in order to promote their socialization

Under the supervision of the residence management, the Activities Co-ordinator must:

- Plan, supervise and organize different activities (intellectual, physical, expression and creativity and social) both outside and inside the Residence;
- Run the exercise classes Monday to Friday; always ensuring the safety of the Residents.
- Call and book activities (musicians, etc. ) set-up or make the decorations for the various events and ensure the safety of the latter;
- Organize, write and prepare the monthly newsletter and calendar ensuring it is sent to Management by deadline.
- Notify, if necessary, the services concerned by the activities: outings, special meals and other activities; Follow up with them so that everything is prepared on time and on the day requested.
- Visit Residents on wellness checks periodically (as a team, not alone).

Rôle : Organiser des activités d'animation et de divertissement variées et adaptées au profil de la clientèle afin de favoriser leur socialisation.

Sous la supervision de la direction de la résidence, le coordonnateur des activités doit :. Planifier, superviser et organiser différentes activités (intellectuelles, physiques, d'expression et de créativité et sociales) à l'extérieur et à l'intérieur de la Résidence ;
- Animer les cours d'exercices physiques du lundi au vendredi en veillant toujours à la sécurité des Résidents..

Convoquer et réserver des activités (musiciens, etc.), mettre en place ou réaliser les décorations pour les différents événements et assurer la sécurité de ces derniers ;.

Organiser, rédiger et préparer le bulletin mensuel et le calendrier en veillant à ce qu'ils soient envoyés à la direction dans les délais..

Prévenir, si nécessaire, les services concernés par les activités : sorties, repas spéciaux et autres activités ;
Faire le suivi avec eux afin que tout soit préparé à temps et le jour demandé. - Visiter périodiquement les résidents lors des visites de bien-être (en équipe, pas seul).

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
