**Job Purpose**

Provide clients technical assistance, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair, installation and commissioning of integrated security systems
- i.e. Access Control, Intrusion Systems, and CCTV systems.

**Key Accountabilities**

1. Quality technical implementation-troubleshooting and repair work, installation, programming, and testing

2. Quality technical implementation as per defined scope.

3. Maximizing customer satisfaction on work, and technical support provided

4. Meeting delivery timelines of projects and service requests.

5. Accurate and timely reporting on status of work.

6. Meet all procedural and contractual client obligations.

7. Up to date technical development through certifications and industry knowledge.

8. Maintaining and sharing knowledge base of clients’ sites, background of security systems.

9. Management of customer expectations and education relating to the technical aspects.

10. Safekeep of allocated resources and stock
- Truck stock, vehicle, tools.

**Responsibilities**

Technical Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot client security equipment issues (CCTV and/or Access Control, Intrusion Systems), understand root cause of the problems, and provide long-term solutions to resolving issues.

2. Install and test low voltage cables, conduit, and other security systems equipment for small to large client projects.

3. Setting up and configuring security devices.

4. Report details of troubleshooting and technical steps taken directly and live on company masterlist (Smartsheet).

5. Execute maintenance service calls and installation projects in a timely manner while adhering to defined Met-Scan and clients’ procedures.

6. Ensure all Health & Safety procedures of both client and Met-Scan are adhered to.

7. Identify and manage own work to contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and technical risks to minimize negative impacts on organizational objectives.

8. Ensure assigned vehicle safety and maintenance.

9. Follow procurement and inventory procedures including return of all unused project equipment upon completion of projects.

10. Provide training on new technologies to end users as well as technical staff involved in projects.

11. Perform housekeeping, as needed, on project sites and at warehouses, and assist with material loading and off-loading.

Administrative Responsibilities

12. Maintain an updated list of truck stock, provide replenishment list of truck stock and ensure proper care and storage.

13. Pick-up and delivery of parts from/to client warehouse.

14. Submit accurate weekly timesheets and supporting details.

15. Manage an updated list of consumables and provide replenishment list to Procurement team.

16. Ensure technical certifications are updated and upgraded as required.

Required
- Technical Diploma, Professional Diploma, or equivalent
- Understands networking and IP addressing
- minimum three years’ experience
- Is able to prepare devices for installation: CCTV, access control and DSC systems
- Experience in preparation and set up for cable pulling.
