**Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the residential area to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of residents and property.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Provide assistance to residents by answering questions and addressing concerns related to security.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage within the community.

**Skills**
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and familiar with CCTV systems.
- Background in law enforcement or security is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and practices.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with residents and law enforcement personnel.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions during emergencies.
- Must maintain a valid Security License
- Requirements - 2 years experience or more.
- Computer knowledge required
- High level of written skills required
- High level of professionalism
- Great verbal communication
- G Drivers License is a must
- Experience on Genetec or Avigilon
- Great Customer Service
- Great organizational skills
- Being able to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement. NDA

This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to ensuring a safe living environment for residents while utilizing their skills in surveillance and security management.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Security: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (required)
- G Driving Licence (required)
