**How you’ll contribute**

As one of our **Heat Service Technicians**, you’ll play a key role in maintaining our Heating Equipment and keeping our fleet rental ready through:

- Servicing, operating, testing, and maintaining natural gas, propane, and electric industrial heaters
- Conducting minor repairs and maintenance items including: checking/gapping spark plugs, replacing air filters, greasing/lubricating bearings/joints, replacing/tensioning belts, etc.
- Staging, washing, cleaning, and prepping Heating/Cooling equipment for next service or repair order
- Determining the serviceability or need for equipment repairs.
- Possessing excellent product knowledge, including features, benefits, and safe operating techniques, and related accessories and products.
- Ensuring service orders meet quality and safety standards and produce consistent and reliable products
- Completing all work orders and related paperwork with respect to the service of equipment in order to preserve the integrity of our Rental Management computer system.
- Following the appropriate checklists and procedures including reading and referring to owner’s manuals and schematics when servicing equipment.
- Maintaining inventory control documents to preserve the integrity of our Rental Management system.
- Operating and testing equipment and, where possible, under actual operating conditions.
- Adhering to and promoting our Company Safety Policies, including wearing required PPE
- Completing other duties as assigned

**What we’re looking for**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- G2 or G3 Gas certification is a strong asset
- 1 year experience servicing heating equipment, construction equipment or relevant experience in a similar background OR a General Labour background with strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Knowledge and/or experience with diesel & gas fuel engines and electric/hydraulic systems
- A G Driver’s license with a clean abstract is a bonus

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
