JOB TITLE: Field Service Technician

DEPARTMENT: Production/Service

REPORTING TO: Production Manager/Service Manager

At Stromcore Energy Inc., we build lithium battery systems for electric vehicles. Located in the Winston Churchill/Dundas area. We are looking for a passionate associate to join our production/service team and learn how to construct the various battery components. New Engineering graduates are welcome.
- Have a valid drivers license
- Have a Canadian Passport or USA VISA
- Willing to travel, mostly to USA
- Possess strong work ethic and punctuality are priority
- Follow company H&S Policies such as safety shoes

Key Responsibilities
- Assembles components under the direction of the Production Supervisor - Battery modules, PCB modules, wiring/soldering of components, mounting instrument components and other miscellaneous parts
- Assist in inventory replenishment, packaging, shipping and housekeeping
- Maintains the working environment in a clean and safe manner by disposing of cardboard and misc. waste
- Carry out other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned such as material handling up to 30lbs (2 person lifting is available for heavier objects) and use of a hand pump truck
- Travel to the customer site to service our batteries/chargers. Expected to be traveling 2 weeks per month

**Education**:

- Diploma in an engineering/technician field
- Technical and/or mechanical skills required

Preferred skill sets:

- Use of standard tool/equipment including, cordless drill, crimps, heat gun, utility knife, soldering and more
- Detailed oriented, precise and fast learner in a dynamic environment
- Must be able to follow company policies and read diagrams as per company SOP’s
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
