Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support III - Clerk III for the Colon Cancer Screening Centre will perform clerical duties required to support a very busy outpatient clinic. Responsibilities and duties include general reception and clerical duties, booking patients for pre-procedure, procedure and post-procedure appointments. The Clerk is responsible to enter patient information into millennium and Clinibase so experience with these systems is required. The Clinic is a very busy, fast paced environment, and the ability to foster a team atmosphere is essential to this position. Customer service and problem-solving skills are essential to be successful in this area with meticulous attention to detail.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
MOA certificate/Unit Clerk course. Experience booking patient visits required. Previous experience in an outpatient setting required. Experience with a multi phone line system required pleasant telephone manner. Experience working with Millennium, Clinibase required. Previous experience in medicine, surgery and/or ambulatory clinics is required. Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Recent hospital and/or clinic experience in a role that coordinates clinic visits and scheduling of procedures or tests. Typing skills 40-50 words/minimum. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills required. Manual dexterity and physically able to carry a weight of up to 15 lbs when required. Ability to sit and stand frequently during your shift. Ability to walk at least 3 km during shift.
