Are you a **Sales Rep** looking to enter the Insurance industry? Do you have the right personality and communication skills to attract prospects to our Agency and make them our customers? Are you comfortable communicating with businesses?
Looking for an **awesome** individual to join a great team here in South Etobicoke. We are a Desjardins Insurance Agency looking for you to **help grow** **our business**. We have a diverse team reflecting the multicultural face of the GTA.
We currently have an opening for a team member to serve the **Chinese segment **of our clientele. Must be able to speak **native Mandarin** and **excellent English. **Come join us if you enjoy a family atmosphere, fast paced environment and interested to help our customers recover from their unexpected losses. You must have **strong sales abilities** and enjoy dealing with customers. Strong computer skills is required. You need to be able to generate sales leads and be able to close sales. You will also be required to answer client's questions professionally.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Establishing relationships with centres of influence eg real estate agents, car dealers, businesses etc
- Calling our clients to review their policies
- Cold calling businesses to grow our business
- Answering client's questions and questions from insurance company
- Taking payments
- Giving insurance quotes and closing a quote to a sale
- Meeting sales targets and quotas set
In order to start work in an Insurance Agency you will need to have your **OTL** or RIBO exams as this is a regulated industry. For the right individual, we will help you pass the OTL exam and get licensed in a short time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $35,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Sales/Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- Mandarin & Excellent English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- OTL or RIBO exam (preferred)
