We are an Independently owned **Desjardins Insurance Agency **in South Etobicoke; passionate about helping our clients recover from unforeseen losses and bettering their lives. Desjardins Insurance is the 2nd largest Property & Casualty Insurance in Canada.

We are looking to grow our seasoned well trusted & top producing team. We currently have a position for a **Bilingual Chinese/English** team member to serve and grow our Chinese clientele. **Responsibilities**:

- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Effectively communicating Insurance products to prospects and clients.
- Provide prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service and advice Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance types, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
- Meet deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Work with the Agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Meet monthly lead generation and sales/production goals.

**Requirements**:

- **LLQP exam is a MUST**:

- 1 year experience in the insurance industry (preferred)
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Excellent communication, written, verbal and listening skills
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic
- Diligent and hardworking
- Proactive in problem solving
- Able to multi task
- Quick learner
- OTL/RIBO exam (a plus but not necessary)

You will start with a Commission based salary for Life insurance clients. Once you pass your OTL exam and are licensed for P&C, you will move to a salary position.
- **This is a Full-time position within a Desjardins Insurance Agency in South Etobicoke once you are dual licensed. This is not a remote role.**_

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $31,205.41-$127,995.93 per year

**Benefits**:

- Tuition reimbursement

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON M8Z 1S2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Chinese and excellent English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- LLQP exam (required)
