Golf Club Repair Tech

If so, and if you have experience in golf club repairs and customizations, we would love to hear from you We are actively seeking those with golf club repair knowledge as well as golf club knowledge in general. This hybrid position moves between multiple departments around the daily & weekly needs of the business. You will directly report to our warehouse facility manager.

While performing the duties of a **golf club repair tech**, you will assist with golf club modifications and repairs as needed to return clubs to a playable condition, or to make modifications to meet the specifications as requested by our customers. These services will be applied largely to preowned clubs and include accurate installation of factory-quality grips and shafts, lie angle and loft adjustments, other golf club repair as well as certain golf club assembly operations.
- Direct hands on experience in club repair and customizations, including re-gripping, re-shafting, loft/lie adjustments, club building, ferrule repair/replacements, etc.
- Examine preowned clubs and determine the need for grip replacement prior to processing customer orders for shipment
- Re-grip golf clubs for customer service order fulfilment process and inventory processing work flow product as needed
- Assess damaged clubs, identify and perform proper repairs necessary to salvage the item in a safe and efficient manner
- Assembly of club heads and shafts that are received from manufacturers in accordance with each OEM’s specifications
- Polishing clubs in an effort to increase overall condition of clubs
- Receive preowned golf equipment utilizing standardized procedures to determine the brand, model, product specific attributes and assign rating condition for each preowned club or shaft received.
- Troubleshoot and identify issues with preowned golf club receipts for the customer during the receiving process and effectively communicate these issues to supervisor and supporting procurement team members.
- Receive as needed new golf products using the Company’s proprietary PO/UPC based receiving systems.
- Process products returned by customers within the allowed time period as dictated under the Company’s terms and conditions indicated to its customers.
- Validate for accuracy the system receipts against all paperwork and control sheets upon completion of each authorized return and communicate any discrepancies with supervisor and respective procurement team members as needed.

**Additional knowledge and skills**
- Assist with daily operations in other areas, such as customer service and order fulfillment, as needed.
- Provide operations department with redundancy efforts required in other areas of the warehouse like shipping, receiving and material handling as needed
- Provide warehouse inventory pick activities required to collect products for service and refinishing process flow.
- Experience using inventory management software is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions as received and hold self-accountable for meeting process expectations
- Strong attention to detail; tenacity to ensure accuracy of all assignments completed

- High school level math and reading skills
- Problem solving skills required
- Ability to lift boxes of golf merchandise up to 25 pounds

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
