Pharmacy Assistant

**Summary**: The Pharmacy Assistant will be an active member of the pharmacy team in supporting pharmacy activities providing excellent patient care. **This position can be either part-time or full-time.**

**Location**:Unit 2- 14872 Yonge Street, Aurora, ON

**Responsibilities**:

- Process prescriptions (including: prescription order entry, 3rd party payor adjudication and troubleshooting, correct selection of generic medication, blister packaging etc.)
- Support pharmacists and clinic team to deliver optimal patient care
- Maintain inventory control and other administrative functions
- Provide customer service in a pleasant and efficient manner

**Requirements**:

- Min of 1 year of Ontario community pharmacy experience preferred
- Available to work weekends and evenings
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge in Kroll Computer System an asset
- Willingness to learn
