A.C. Nelson is an established and growing family-run electrical company dedicated to serving our customers since 1973. We pride ourselves on having long term relationships with our customers. We are looking to expand our team with a sales associate at our office in Port Kells

Our appreciated customers return to us for two main reasons:

- They save money by buying quality surplus electrical products, as opposed to paying top dollar for new wholesale items. As one of our valued customers says, _“Refurbished rocks - electricity doesn’t know the difference”_
- We pride ourselves on being a go-to source for those tricky to find products. Whatever you’re looking for, there’s a good chance we have it. And if we don’t, we can probably help you find it.

**Your Role**

Your responsibilities will include counter sales, communicating with our suppliers, generating accurate quotes, purchase orders, fulfilling orders and operating our POS system. Hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (No weekends).

**Unqualified applicants will not be considered**

**Requirements**:

- _**Must have**_ general electrical knowledge
- Sales experience
- Valid drivers license required
- Must be able to work independently
- Due to the volume of sales, must be effective at time management and prioritization

**Responsibilities**:

- Operating a busy multi-line phone system
- Restocking
- Placing/Pulling Orders
- Some shipping & receiving

Starting wage will be commensurate with experience and benefits are offered after 6 months.

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
