**Job Profile**:
Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Advisor is accountable for partnering with corporate clients to provide comprehensive services in all aspects of Talent Acquisition (Sourcing, recruitment, selection, etc.) aimed at attracting and retaining high quality talent. The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for full life-cycle recruitment, collaborating with leaders (including senior management) and other Human Resource partners across the organization. The Advisor is accountable for the end-to-end recruitment of roles within both union and non-union portfolios.

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide talent mapping and align recruitment strategies through direct sourcing, networking, and innovative recruiting techniques to source and acquire quality talent.
- Collaborate with management teams to understand departmental needs, design position profiles, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and core competencies.
- Work with HR staff, external agencies, and industry associations to enhance recruitment efforts and stay informed about employment laws.
- Contribute to the development and updating of recruitment policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance.
- Create and maintain the current inventory of position profiles based on current job descriptions and ensure compliance with the maintenance program as directed by the City’s job evaluation process.

**Education**:

- Degree in Human Resources Management or similar
- Ontario Class G License
- Certified in Recruitment Profiling / Assessment Analysis, is an asset
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), or equivalent designation

**Experience and Knowledge**:

- Four years of experience in full cycle recruitment
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews, (i.e. structured, competency-based, behavioral based, phone interviews, reference checks, circuit interviews, virtual interviews etc.
- Proficient presentation skills
- Strong planning, organizational and communication skills

- Valid G driver's license.- Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training certificate from the Ministry of Labour. (may be obtained post offer)- Proof of your current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications.**Your compensation**:
The annual salary range for this non-union position is $84,066 to $102,521 (Band Level 4).

Enrolment in Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS)

**Hours of work**:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
