Reports to: Working under the direction of the Primary Investigator the CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR collaborates with the Medical Director (MD) and multidisciplinary health care team at in the following:

- Plans, implements and coordinates all aspects of data collection and source documentation, as per policy and ICH/GCP guidelines
- Identifies problems using assessment skills and reports any abnormalities to MD or health care team member
- Executes study: related administrative tasks such as collection of regulatory documents, ethics submissions, etc.; conducts telephone and/or clinical recruitment interviews to collect data using established criteria; coordinates patient visits schedule as per study protocol
- Executes all aspects of study visit (e.g. Data entry, assessment, EKG’s, adverse events, monitoring safety, medication, questionnaires, sample collection, processing and shipment of samples according to clinical protocols)
- Co-ordinate the administration of Investigational Product to patients and orientates patients on study visits throughout the study protocol.
- Assesses study: related literature; and liaises with sponsor for monitoring/audits.
- Participates in Investigator meetings, Site Initiation Visit’s, Study monitor visits and Study Close out visits.
- Involved in creation and modification of Standard Operating Protocols used for Clinical Trials

Additional duties _**may**_ include:
Obtaining vital signs; monitoring patients during injections/administering subcutaneous injections; specimen collection/handling; providing direct care to patients under the supervision of the physician; documenting procedures, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment; acting as liaison and networking with co investigators, sub investigators and sponsor companies.

**Experience in a healthcare setting including clinical research is an asset including working knowledge of Word, Excel, Data entry, Phlebotomy, EKG, Urine analysis, and other basic laboratory skills.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $25.00 per hour
