The AML Department is responsible for developing, implementing and sustaining the Tangerine Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) and Sanctions Program and ensuring that Tangerine remains compliant with regulatory expectations and Scotiabank policies and standards. The **Manager, AML** is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager, AML with the Tangerine Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Program.

**What you'll do in this job**:

- Act as the AML/ATF and sanctions representation on AML and business projects, initiatives and risk assessments
- Support internal and external audit examinations and preparatory efforts
- Act as a liaison and point of contact for the Business to address questions, educate and inform the business regarding AML/ATF and Sanctions requirements
- Support enterprise inherent risk and control effectiveness assessments
- Work with business partners within the Bank to adapt and implement AML requirements for Tangerine
- Support the Senior Manager, AML with KYC and onboarding related questions and initiatives
- Work with the business to implement AML related requirements
- Manage internal questions from the Business and other 1A and 1B support functions
- Manage the AML mailbox
- Complete monthly and quarterly AML reporting
- Support the Senior Manager, AML to ensure that Tangerine NIRA, NIASRA and DDQ adequately document the potential AML/ATF and Sanctions risks and that controls are developed to mitigate risk
- Coordinate with the business to ensure adequate policies and procedures are implemented to support AML processes
- Assist with updating the Tangerine Policies and Procedures including the Tangerine AML/ATF and Sanctions Handbook
- Assist in effective change management processes related to AML initiatives

- Detailed knowledge of AML/ATF and Sanctions regulatory standards
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
- Effective communication skills and ability to impact and influence
- Attention to detail
- Experience in project and initiative management
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the Financial Services industry
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AML/ATF and Sanctions
- University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent work experience
- CAMS designation is an asset
