**Overview**
As a Siding Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing detailed, accurate, and competitive cost analyses for each project. Working alongside a best-in-class team, you will help ensure that our siding project estimates are precise and delivered within budget.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work
- Prepare materials, labor and equipment cost estimations necessary to successfully carry out a construction project according to proposals, plans, estimates and specifications
- Prepare and maintain a list of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
- Study and analyze proposals received
- Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
- Support other department personnel as required which may include preparing estimates for other disciplines
- Ensure that we have CE or PO for every extra
- Communicate Spec’s and scope of work to appropriate staff
- Ensure all estimates are compliant with company standards, client requirements and industry regulations

**Requirements**:

- 2 years experience in construction preferably in siding.
- Estimating experience an asset
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Able to interact effectively, cross-functionally and with various levels within the organization
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skill
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency working with estimating software **(Add specific software we use)** and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset
