What You’ll Do

Are you a logistics leader with a passion for efficiency, team development, and continuous improvement? Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Shipping and Logistics Supervisor, where you’ll oversee the flow of materials, manage inventory operators, and lead a high-performing shipping/receiving team.
- Lead and coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and supplies to support production.
- Supervise the Shipping and Receiving Cell, ensuring smooth operations and team performance.
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and collaborate with Finance and Manufacturing teams.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure timely, quality deliveries.
- Analyze customer and supplier demand, inventory status, and manufacturing variances.
- Develop and track KPIs to drive performance and accountability.
- Support supplier development and implement Lean and 5S initiatives.
- Train ERP users and resolve system errors.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement long-term solutions.
- Manage excess and obsolete inventory in collaboration with purchasing and finance.
- Ensure compliance with shipping documentation standards and trade regulations.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years in manufacturing, including leadership experience.
- Strong inventory management skills: ERP experience (Syteline or IFS) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid communication skills.
- Experience working in a unionized environment and balancing Union/Non-Union priorities within CBA requirements.
- Familiarity with basic accounting practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing is an asset.
