**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**_Treasury Management_**
- Perform daily cash funding and cash forecasting
- Prepare short-term investment proposals for approval
- Prepare monthly cash and interest income forecasting and risk management analysis
- Prepare annual cash budgeting forecast
- Liaise with TCI banking partners on various operational issues

**_Accounting support: _**
- Perform month-end close activities for Cash, Fixed Assets and other areas where assigned, including preparation of journal entries, data and general ledger account analysis to ensure recording and reporting in accordance with IFRS
- Reconcile and monitor assigned Balance Sheet accounts
- Perform monthly and quarterly fixed asset forecasting activity and depreciation expense
- Liaise with Fixed Asset control groups to obtain updated fixed asset and construction-in-progress information
- Timely and accurate Shareholder reporting and internal financial reporting
- Provide quarterly review and year-end audit support in relation to accounting for assigned areas of responsibility

**_Kaizen/Ad-Hoc_**
- Identify opportunities to kaizen internal processes to support continuous improvement within the department (develop or enhance working templates, model, and reports)
- Maintain and create standard operating procedures where applicable
- Participate in ad hoc assignments or special projects as required
- Prepare payroll and tax payments where required

**What You’ll Bring**:

- University degree in Business/Accounting
- CPA/CA/CMA/CGA designated or working towards completing designation
- 5+ years financial reporting and analysis experience
- Experience with treasury, investment management and fixed assets accounting preferred
- Experience with account reconciliations and analysis
- Demonstrated good partnership skills and ability to negotiate
- Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills in a team setting
- Demonstrated successes in achieving goals in a timely manner
- Highly motivated individual, who is a self-starter, quick learner, organized, logical thinker, customer focused, and likes new challenges
- Working knowledge of ERP system (SAP preferred)
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred
