As an Associate Specialist - Industrial Automation, you will promote and grow sales of industrial automation products, systems and services. You will provide pre and post sales technical support and training to both internal and external customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Calls on customers, management and representatives to convince them of the desirability of automation products or services offered.
- Identifies additional opportunities for sales in coordination with Outside Sales Representatives, Automation Specialists and Sales Managers, where applicable.
- Communicates with Outside Sales Representatives, Automation Specialists and Sales Managers on an ongoing basis, providing account updates and supporting data.
- Participates in joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
- May serve as primary customer contact at identified accounts.
- Develops expertise in industrial automation and utilizes that knowledge to support the sales and service of the automation products.
- Participates in ongoing training to maintain competency in product and complementary product areas.
- Learn market conditions and competitive forces.
- Coordinates marketing, promotion programs and product launches from product businesses.
- Develops relationships with vendor product managers and other selling resources.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- 2 years automation sales experience preferred
- 2 years technical experience using automation products preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25%

Compensation Details $69,352 - $86,689 Annually

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package. In addition, EECOL offers a full range of benefits such as paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement savings plans for eligible employees.
