**Job Overview**:
Red Deer based, Canadian owned Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Independent Sales Representative. The Representative will be responsible for generating leads, meeting sales goals and contributing to the overall growth of the company by maintaining positive customer relations. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts and sales with potential clients.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generating & identifying potential customers through networking and following leads.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
- Accurately generating pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Preparing monthly reports.
- Facilitating sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Maintaining client records.
- Addressing customer questions about products, technical aspects, prices, and availability.

**Skills**:

- Background in the following industries is preferred but not required:

- Experience in sales.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Experience using computers and a smartphone for a variety of tasks.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change.

Pay: $30,000.00-$300,000.00 per year
