**Job Overview**:
Looking for an individual with background in Firefighting & Emergency Response to tackle this unique customer base where your knowledge and connections in the industry would be an asset. This position is ideal for anyone looking for full-time or part-time commitment to sales. Ideal for a retired Fire Chief or someone actively employed, this is a flexible role if you’re looking to build your portfolio.

*Note - This position is for a Contractor of Independent Sales not a hired employee.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generating & identifying potential customers through networking and following leads.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
- Accurately generating pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Preparing monthly reports.
- Facilitating sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Maintaining client records.
- Addressing customer questions about products, technical aspects, prices, and availability.

**Skills**:

- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Experience using computers and a smartphone for a variety of tasks.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change.

Pay: $30,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
