Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist dentists during dental procedures, including taking X-rays, preparing instruments, and passing instruments to the dentist
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Take accurate patient medical histories and record vital signs
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Utilize dental software systems such as Abeldent for patient management
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care
- Stay up-to-date with dental advancements and attend continuing education courses

**Skills**:

- Experience with dental assisting and receptionist duties
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Abeldent
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly treatment room
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $29.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 35 per week
