**About this role**:

- As a Manager, Data Analytics - Logistics, you will be responsible for delivering data products for our global logistics business. You will be responsible for working together with the data engineering, data science and product leads to unlock exponential value for product logistics._
- Location: Hybrid
- 3 days a week from our Toronto office & 2 days working from home_
- Reporting to: Technology Manager_

**These are some of the key ingredients to the role**:

- You will coach & lead a team of 8-10 highly talented analysts based in Toronto, London and Berlin.
- You are a change agent in the transition towards a data driven department
- You set an example and encourage a mindset of experimentation and innovation, ensuring teams adopt and follow this approach.
- You present actionable insights using strong data visualization and communication to support the strategic direction of product logistics
- You are the owner of logistics KPIs & ensure that the product is moving in a target driven direction
- You are the owner of value-adding dashboards & analytical products to continuously support our logistics value chain
- You might be required to create light data pipelines and deliver results through dashboards, reports, or one-off analyses
- You are responsible for being a Single point of contact for teams outside of the Product Data & Analytics team.

**What will you bring to the table?**:

- You gained 7+ years of strong experience in analytics, with previous experience in product analytics and / or logistics preferred
- You have gained 3+ experience of leading, coaching & mentoring teams
- Preferably an academic quantitative degree (MSc) in Econometrics/Economy, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science or another related field with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis
- Solid understanding and experience on AWS/GCP data offerings (Redshift / Big-query)
- Mastery of SQL and experience with BI reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview, Looker) and modern databases. Knowledge of Python is preferred.
- Significant experience in telling stories with data to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on mentality, structured and solution-oriented thinking, critical questioning and focusing on ongoing development
- Excellent communication, team work and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in an agile environment
