**A Private Athletic and Social Club located in the beaches requires an Executive Chef to lead a small Kitchen. Must be creative, flexible, able to work with fresh ingredients and think outside the box.**

The Balmy Beach Club is located right on the Beach. Our facility boasts a beautiful patio that can seat 300 + in addition to a banquet hall for Member /private events and bar dining areas. We cater to our 7 sporting sections, Volleyball, Rugby, Hockey, Paddling, Fitness, Lawn bowling and Squash Members.

**Responsibilities Include**:
Manage, supervise, organize and direct all kitchen operations. Provide leadership, direction, innovation, motivation, imagination and versatility in directing the kitchen operations.

Demonstrate creativity and innovation in planning menus for Balmy Beach Club, private functions, Club events and Section Events.

Maintain food and labour costs in accordance with budgetary guidelines.

Be accessible and visible to the Membership and staff and continually strive to gain and maintain their respect and confidence.
- A minimum of 2 years as an Executive or Head Chef.
- Professional culinary training.
- Must have experience with Catering i.e. Weddings etc.
- Must have knowledge of standard HR practices and ESA guidelines.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule which involves working around the needs of a busy
Club. Your schedule will vary week to week.
- Be collaborative, handle pressure and enjoy leading a team.
- Have your own transportation.

Salary $68K + Percentage of food sales = $90K / year

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
