**Accounting Clerk**

**OBJECTIVE**:

They are seeking an Accounting Clerk reporting to the Finance Manager to help run their financial operations of the company. This position is responsible for performing various finance and accounting functions.

Our client incorporated in 1926, is a privately owned Contact Center and BPO organization providing services such as; Technical Support, Telesales, Digital Solutions, Social Media Management, Back Office Support and Receivable Management. As an industry leader, they provide outsourced Omni-channel solutions to many brand-sensitive and Fortune 500 companies globally. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Duties & Responsibilities: _
- Overseeing daily transactions,
- Bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Perform period close tasks including journal entry preparation and assistance in review of team entries as required
- Monthly revenue reporting and analytical review
- Accounts receivable review and reporting
- Trust cash reconciliations and reporting
- Prepare schedules and documents required for statutory audit and compliance reporting - Perform other duties assigned by management

**PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Quick learner and strong work ethic; able to quickly learn various tasks
- Must be detail-oriented, demonstrated a track record for accuracy and thoroughness, and have strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work at fast-paced, high-pressure, dynamic work environment, with mínimal supervision
- Effective communication skills verbal, written, and listening
- DEC or certificate in accounting, finance, or related field /equivalent relevant work-related experience required
- 2 to 3 years of accounting-related work experience required
- Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel) - SAGE experience a plus
